Welcome to roguemalotype's commissions page!I, the artist, am 26 years old, based in South Africa. If you are interested in knowing more about me, please see here.I specialize in humanoid characters, human characters, and Sonic characters or furries. I love trying new things too, so if you would like to see if I'm able to draw your character please don't hesitate to question! Pricing for customs depends entirely on the complexity of the character you are wanting. Price starts at $50, which will include a fullbody, a headshot, a chibi, and any one additional close-up you may want. Please read my ToS regarding customs.

Please read my ToS regarding NSFW commissions before considering sending a request. This carrd does not have NSFW examples.Pricing for NSFW commissions depends on the commission type (lineart, flat colour, rendered) + the complexity of the scene. In the case of a nude character with visible parts, normal prices apply as per the list.

⟡ I, the artist, retain full and exclusive rights to the original artwork. The client may not claim any of the art to be theirs or use it for anything other than personal use.
⟡ All commissioned work is for personal use only. The client may repost my art provided they do not claim the art as theirs, and credit me as well as not alter/remove my watermark on my artwork.
⟡ Please do not make alterations to the artwork without discussing with me first. You may crop images for the sake of making icons for social media, provided credits to me are visible somewhere on your profile.
⟡ In the instance of customs and reference sheets, should the client eventually feel as though they lose the love for the character, they are welcome to sell the design provided they credit me as the artist.Payment information
⟡ I accept payments in USD, which will be taken either by Ko-fi or Paypal only.
⟡ A sketch will be provided to you before payment. If you are happy with what I have shown you, payment is then either to be made in full or 50% for me to continue with the commission. The client will only receive the finished image upon full payment being made.
⟡ The client is responsible for informing me once the payment has been sent.
⟡ I do not do installment plans. I will only accept 50% of the price to start the commission, but you need to send the full payment for me to send through the final product.Refund Policy
⟡ If the commission is cancelled, either by me or the client, before any work has started, the client will receive a full refund.
⟡ If the client cancels the commission during progress, the amount refunded will be case-by-case, depending on the work that has been done.
⟡ No refunds will be granted for nearly or fully completed works.
⟡ I reserve the right to cancel the commission at any time, for any reason, and without explanation. If I feel as though I cannot continue the commission, I will issue a full refund.Contact
⟡ Discussions about commissions can be done either via email, Ko-fi, or Discord.
⟡ Please ensure wherever discussions start is the most reliable form of communication.
⟡ The client is expected to provide a clear visual reference along with any additional references the client feels would be beneficial for me to know. Poses, textures, clothing, will all be valuable references to have for the process.
⟡ In the instance of customs and reference sheets, the client will be asked to provide a moodboard or something similar that explains the vibe of the character. Detailed descriptions are permitted, but you will need to provide references for smaller details like jewelry and so on.
⟡ Any changes in the workflow will be communicated to the client.Will/Won’t draw
⟡ I will not try to match another artist or company’s style.
⟡ The client must be 18 years or older to commission adult content. Violating this will result in you being blacklisted and blocked on any means of contact.

- Humans/Humanoids

- Sonic characters
- Semi-NSFW
- Most human-appearing original species
- Feral wolves
⟡ Disallowed content:
- Characters intended to appear underage in a suggestive/sexual context.
- Mecha
- Extreme fetishes
- Any sort of hateful content and characters with Nazi/Soviet/etc imagery or paraphernalia.Workflow
⟡ Depending on the commission type, clients will receive a watermarked sketch before payment. Any major changes that need to be done must be made in this phase before I continue with the work.
⟡ I work best with clear instructions on what is required as well as being given some artistic freedom. If I have done a sketch and you feel I haven’t matched what you expected, please allow room for a discussion so we can resolve the issue.
⟡ Estimated time of delivery is between 1-2 weeks. If I have a backlog of commissions, I will inform the client of the waiting period. Please inform me if you have a due date for your commission and you will be bumped.
⟡ The client is welcome to request a WIP at any point, for free, during the process once payment has been finalized. The client will receive a watermarked full image. Asking for a WIP will temporarily pause the progress in case you see anything that may need minor changes, and will resume once all is good.
⟡ If I have made any errors in the character’s design, accessories, or any other visual elements, I will make the changes at no additional cost.
⟡ Any major changes during the commission process after the initial sketch may require an additional fee.
⟡ If you would prefer not to have your work posted online by me, whether in my portfolio or social media, please inform me when you order. This includes telling me to not share with friends and family. NSFW/18+ images will not be added to this carrd.Character Designs and Adoptables
⟡ In the instance you have purchased a design from me, please do not claim the design was made by you. Always credit me as the creator of the design.
⟡ Once the design or character is yours, you are allowed to change the design as you deem fit. Regardless of the changes, you are still expected to credit me for the original design.
⟡ In the instance of reselling the design or adoptable, please do not charge higher than the price it was bought at unless you have additional artwork to add to it.
⟡ I will never use bases for the purpose of creating adoptables/designs. All designs and adoptable characters are made, from scratch, by me.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF SCAMMERS/IMPERSONATERS. All the socials listed in this carrd are the socials I am actively posting art to. I do not have a public Instagram. I do not have a public Facebook. I will never approach people I do not know in DMs regarding commissions. Please ensure all artwork received by me has my watermark on it.
